The second superb spirit from 1998 is this 22-year-old Rum produced on Foursquare’s column still. It’s also the least numerous edition of our ultra-old Bajan rum – only 227 bottles where produced. This rum matured in Ex-Bourbon cask for 7 years in the tropics with the remainder in Europe. Bottled at cask strength of 58,8% ABV.

Tasting Notes:
“Nose: quite a rounded nose, with echoes of bourbon whiskey or grain whisky. A lot of maple syrup, vanilla and hints of cake. […] Mouth: a lot of sweet bananas now, mixed with sweet oranges, butterscotch and a light lemony touch. […] Finish: quite long, on dried bananas and oak spice. A slightly unexpected profile, much rounder and more woody than expected.”
